COMPUTER CARTS
These computer terminal carts were designed to allow for easy movement
of the necessary equipment to effectively computer clerk auctions. The
cart has balloon tires to allow it to roll very easily over grass and other
rough surfaces. It is made out of steel. It has a durable, baked on, thermal
set plastic finish. It is designed to carry the WYSE Terminal, with the
keyboard well placed on the handle. Making it very easy for the clerk to
control as well as enter data. There is a mount for the radio modem above
the terminal. We have used this cart on numerous auctions, and find it
to work very well. The cart comes fully assembled. The cart folds down
to allow it to be placed in a car trunk. It has a swivel front wheel. There
is an optional brake, of the type used on wheel chairs.
The Wyse terminal and the battery are not included.

Wireless Communication Between Your Clerk and Computer
A great combination with your JBS MAXA Software
Radio Modems
The data radio modem is the way to have the clerking terminal connected
to the computer, yet be free to move about the auction.
Power Supplies
The combination of radio modems and the terminal cart with a power supply,
offer the portability that you want. Most auctioneers need to have a source
of power that will last for many hours. Notebooks and laptops do not have
the battery life needed to conduct auctions. There needs to be a source
of power that will last a long time, yet be replaceable. The ability to
be deeply discharged and recharged is what a Deep-Cycle Battery is designed
to do. The combination of a Deep-Cycle Battery and an inverter allows for
the use of a WYSE Terminal with its full keyboard and the radio modem.
A fully charged battery will last 12 or more hours. If needed an additional
battery can quickly replace the original, extending the use time of the
system.
